I did some videos for my tracks off ReBeat.
mainly so there was something slightly more interesting than just some album art when you watch it on youtube.
nothing too technical.... made using either the video from the original track or one from another track by the artist.

Note: the Tony Yayo remix got taken down as soon as i put it on youtube.

The Fluxus Funhouse was a crazy interactive place to play live games and go bonkers.
I was asked to write a track for their version of life sized Pac Man.
So I did.

I have a short attention span and I change my mind a lot. vol 1.1

I have a new beat tape out!

This album has been through many different styles, sizes and names since its tracks were completed in the beginning of 2011. The essence of this is captured in its wordy title and 5-year-old-in-a-hoodie cover art.
Both of which fit my current style of making beats perfectly.

It took a year to finalise the way this set of tracks would be delivered to the listeners and only in the last week was the final configuration decided upon.
Originally a bunch of sample based instrumentals, electronic club-ish explorations and self styled Bit Jax fuck-arounds.
It morphed from 20 odd tracks, into 48 split over 4 albums, back into a 48 track monster album until finally I got tough on myself, culled 15 completely and split the rest into two masterpieces.
One with electronic leanings and one that's beats.
This is the latter.

Updates for 2012

You can now download all of my older releases (and some unreleased bits) that were given out but lost in a pile of shitty mediafirerapidshare links. Some (most/all haha) are unmastered and not as amazing as my recent work but I dont think that means they should be forgotten. I think having these older Bit Jax tracks available helps show how my musical tastes (and attention span) have changed and how I have progressed as a producer.

I've been organising myself and my music for some bigger better releases for 2012.
So if all goes to plan and we're all doing mean limo jumps off parts of the road as they fall away into the imploding earth on dec 21st - we should have some awesome music to listen to while we do it.
February is the month to start with.

King Beat Ep Videos

I made videos for each of the tracks off my new King Beat Ep.

Nothing too technical, just some good old moving image instead of album art like people usually put with music videos on youtube.

Take note of the video for Golden Railroad. Made with footage from the Auckland Lantern Festival earlier this year. Featuring spaced out drunk(?) girl trying to do the splits on wet grass.
